Recently acquired a 2008 Clubby "Justa" 15K miles HC exterior Black interior. Black roof and black pillars. Has the double sunroof and cold weather package.

Car was an upgrade from a Toy... Yaris that is. Here is a picture of me accelerating in the Toy...

The MINI is my daily driver. Getting 30MPG commuting.

I like it so much I am considering selling my Z3 ('summer car') and getting a MINI convertible (picture of wife:)

I'll take a pic or two as soon as the grey snow is off the ground.

I am perfectly happy with the acceleration and performance of my '08 Clubbie. I am sure that part of the reason is because I used to drive a low - end (the lowest) Japanese Toy.

What I wonder is, is the difference between the Justa and the S comparable to the difference between the Yari and the Justa?

Hey, all! I keep getting bumped from the responses to this thread. Anybody else really tired of winter keeping their HC baby looking grubby?

Lady G: I notice all the noobies' cookies keep going to you, and there's no sharing going on...

 

... and the Mini is actually my winter car! I hate the trashed interior, the salty paint, the just overall dinginess. Plus it looks a lot better parked in a sea of green than on a sea of greyish-white IMHO.

It just doesn't seem to drive as funly in the cold regardless of precip. unless I am making doughnuts across the street in the Fire Hall parking lot (here is a picture of my wife's opinion of that! )

I clicked on submit, I think, and then I went elsewhere and I am not sure if you got my reply. Your Mini is lick-a-ble. It is a great mix of classy and cute. I have a hardtop, Hot Chocolate Justacooper, white top, British tan interior, white piping and turquoise thread ala Tiffany's, 2010 5th Anniversary edition. I am technically challenged and not able to post a picture of Coconib. You have to name your Mini and join a car club and zoom, zoom, zoom!

Now that I'm on a communication roll here, your Mini's name is great. It was really hard to find a license plate available here in California for anything meaning chocolate, but Coconib was not being used by any other plate.

Your convertible is rich looking and precious at the same time. I think the 2011 chocolate is just a tad different in its chocolateness than the 2010. Exactly how, I cannot explain. The 2011 almost looks like dark chocolate. Mine looks like 69% dark chocolate. I am so glad that there is now finally another chocolate in the club other than the Clubman. Oh, I did post a picture just now but I have no idea where it is. I aimed it to the Membership Gallery, wherever that is.
