About to join the crew this weekend. I'm really anxious and think I'm going the JCW Aero direction. Anyone have pics of a stocked out JCW Aero Hot Chocolate Clubman? That would be awesome. Love this forum so far!

Finally, a club I would like to join!

Ladies and Gentleman - meet Chaka, 2011 Hot Chocolate Clubman. 3600 miles and no problems. Took her on a 2500 mile road trip and she is a better road car then the Lexus RX330 I traded in. I was part of an ice racing team in 1970 that had a Sooper Cooper and waited too long to revisit....

Nice! I'm at ~3200 miles just back from a 1300 mile trip. Having similar thoughts versus my former 2002 VW Passat.

We bought my wife a Hot Chocolate 2008 R55 this weekend. Only had 5900 miles on it and was in primo condition. We really love the lounge leather interior! We bought it at a Mercedes Benz dealership. The sales guy was great but the "closer" pulled out the extended warranty stuff and wanted us to buy the extended warranty. I thought the car still had some warranty on it. Took delivery and headed to Ralph Schomp Mini in Littleton, CO. Great people there. The guys gave my car the once-over (it had originally come from there) and then surprised me by running the service history on it and guess what? - The original owner bought the extended warranty - I have coverage till 100,000 miles or 2014! I'm on cloud nine! We're hoping that with snow tires this will work for us in the winter over the mountain passes. It's an S model so it has plenty of get up and go. It's really cool to see two Minis parked in the garage. Still have space for one more...

We're going to call this one "Coco"

We have a hard time believing how nice this car is and how subtly different it is from my '02 R53. The lounge leather seats are probably what sold my wife. I liked the driving lamps and the silver stripes that are on it. The white plastic driving light covers have been replaced by tasteful black ones. I don't believe the covers had ever been taken off the driving lights. They put the chrome kit on with the scoop etc., but to my amazement, all the original parts were in boxes in the rear of the car!

Check out the picture in my GARAGE. You can see a picture of us with the sales guy (Amos is in the middle) and the wall-to-wall grin is my wife and I. We brought the car back the next morning because we'd left something in our trade-in - he panicked a bit till we jumped out of the car and said, "We love it".

We felt so bad for not buying a car from our Schomp dealership guys, Don Bailey and Devon Scott that we bought them gift certificates to a Cheesecake factory as a consolation prize. We L O V E Minis.

Just waiting for delivery. It's gotta be better than the last 5 cars I've owned in the past 12 years. (with the exception of two were all POS's_)

HC is the most beautiful Clubbie. We wanted it on our CM but had to settle for Light Coffee which in my opinion is the best available on the CM. Being that it's not common is a good thing.

+1

I was looking at the CM too and Light Coffee is a great color. I also liked Royal Grey and Light White.

Hey all,

I guess I am number 158 - we got our Hot Chocolate this week. It's a lot different than my last MINI but we were looking for something different - LOL.

Pics to be posted soon - its a 2011, just-a-cooper w a 6 sp manual -- had to keep it simple this time. I'm just glad to have a MINI again...

Working on getting the rear silver bumper/door trim painted in HC and the pillars in black. I've always wanted to see one in person like that. When the car is out of the shop you guys will definitely get pics.

steering wheel in hot chocolate

anyone run across or have photos of a hot chocolate steering wheel/ebrake/shift ****? Im having difficult time finding one online and am curious if the shade of brown would go along with English oak on the Dash. I'll post a pic of the interior idea, as reference. I know when I view colors on the mini configuration the color is a bit off. THANKS!!!

It looks great!

I know schatzy has them installed, and I think Vivi (TNMINIMama) has it installed, too? If I have time to search, I'll post a link.

Wanted: Driver's side Mirror Cap!

My co-worker had a surprise when she came back to her parked conv. Someone had parallel parked off her driver's side mirror cap...total loss. She did get a nice note of apology with a FAKE phone number...obviously it wasn't a MINI owner.

She needs a replacement chocolate brown driver's side mirror cap, preferably OEM.

Anyone have a lead on a distributor, or even better, have a spare sitting around your garage?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry about that - I assumed 158 was the next number available...

we all know what happens when I assume.... i make an a_ _ out of myself

I apologize and throw myself on the mercy of the HCOC ... I promise to do as many MINI runs as possible as punishment
