R52 Wet face
Wet face
I have been doing some experiments with the windshield washers lately, and wonder if someone has similar experiences. Early on in my top down motoring career, I noticed the windshield was quite filthy, so hit the washer switch, and got a face full of washer fluid while sitting at a red light. Note to self.... A few days later, filthy windshield again, this time waited for a stretch of road I could hit 50 mph or more, and hit the washer. Better, but the washer fluid snuck around the edges of the windshield, and moistened my face again.
I think I finally hit on the right combo (mostly) - make sure you are at 50 mph min, roll up the windows, and wash to your heart's content, keeping a dry face. The only down side is the side windows are now filthy, but after everything dries, I can just roll them down.....
Yes, I know I should have cleaned the windshield before leaving home, but the ADD is a struggle some times.... Does anyone else have a better system?

Re-aim the jets.
In the hard top I would always get blasted with the roof and windows open at the same time regardless of speed, re-aimed the jets and I'm a little drier not to mention I getmore of the windshield cleaned. Still get a few drops coming of fthe A pillar when I'm moving but I've got a microfiber in the drivers side door pocket that quickly remedies that.
(but I might be dripping onto the roof around the sunroof, but thought it may be worth a try)
