Meg - I'm sure that all of us in the MINI community share your grief in the passing of Boo ... And, as others have said, so glad that you and your passenger are OK.
Boo II should make everything right again.

Meg I am so sorry for your loss!! I am one of the few who feel your pain!! I lost my beloved GOLDIE to a wheel with tire that came off an 18 wheeler and struck me head on at about 60 mph. I loved that car sooooooo much!! That last picture of you standing next to Boo is heartbreaking, moreso for me, because that is exactly what I looked like only a little over a year ago. Since that, I profess our MINI's safetly to everyone I meet. We replaced GOLDIE with an S hardtop "Wyatt", and last week adopted "George." Its hard to let go, when you feel like the MINI saved your life, but you know its best. *hugs* to you!!

I'm so sorry about your accident, Meg, but so relieved to hear you and your friend are OK. Boo did a great job protecting you -- thanks for sharing your story and the pics!

It's also good news to hear that the insurance company totaled Boo #1. Now we're all looking forward to meeting Boo #2!

Nice color combo. I think PW/B is becoming the MINI color to get after a wreck.

Yay! Boo II looks great! Glad to see that you've bounced back from that brief rough spot. Good to see you with a smile
BTW, I love that you match your new MINI, with the white coat and black shirt .

You are the only person to notice. I always have a piece of clothing or accessory to match my MINI. When I had my CR/W Cooper it was a red and white Coach bag, it was a pair of black Diesels with my JB/B MCSC and now the white coat with my PW/B MCSC (I also have a PW sweater on today).

This is my third MINI that those plates will be on. I also took some other stuff from Boo that is already on Boo 2.0 (Whalen and exhaust, which will go on soon).

Very glad your ok and not seriously hurt. The car looks ugly, and so does the situation, but it will all be perfect again very soon! You'll probably get a brand spankin' new MINI exactly how you want it.

Oh, and just out of curiousity, is that one of my hood scoop grilles in your bonnet?

Good luck,
William

Glad that things worked out and that you were not injured for sure. Great color choice for the Boo 2.0

I already picked up the new 'vert and am loving it. (See pics in above comments). It isn't one of your scoop grills, we have someone in our local clubs who has been making them since 02. He made me a special white one for Boo, now I will have to get him to make me one for Boo 2.0
