Don't worry, it (and all of its iggly wiggly legs) got squished in the folding mechanism!

My dogs hunt them too but not as well as a cat would...this is time of year for spyders...be on lookout for a web...means it has taken up residense in your Mini!
I was really less concerned about a poisonous spider bite than I was about the effects of running into a a)telephone pole or b)guard rail or c)other car in the midst of my freaking out! We have two cats, maybe I should put them to work. Our dog would probably just slobber him to death! Thanks for the support guys, I knew I could count on you all!

I actually had a tree frog come out of my vent on top of the dash, on the highway, doing approx 70 mph (wink, wink). It was trying to hop around and the wind just kept pushing is toward the backseat. I was afraid it would land on me, with all those sticky feet...yuck So I did the only thing I could think of: I used my CD case as a shield. It landed on the case, I went to fling the frog out of the car and it stuck to the case. The second time I tried to shake it off, the case slipped from my fingers, and my CD's were lost on I-10 somewhere between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I hope the alligators are happy, they have A LOT of my DMB collection!

My husband still teases me about it...

I heard spiders in your car or house are good luck...that probably came from some one too afraid to kill 'em!

I swear, I keep killing the same darn spider in my house over and over and over. My husband it getting really tired of my screeching ...it's really more surprise than anything, but boy do I dislike spiders. I try to look on the positive side when they are outside, they are eating flies and misquitos!
