MINI Convertible Made A New Friend Today...

The MINI Convertible has changed my life! If I can't put the top down, I don't want it! So I am selling the truck and picked this little beauty up yesterday. I was a little concerned about how the MINI would react with a second "Soft Top" in the family, but before I could introduce them to each other, they were already becoming friends. Now they are inseparable! However, there seems to be a little jealously between the two as to which goes out and which stays in. I hope this doesn't become a problem.

After having my MCSc for about three weeks I got into my Nissan Frontier Crew Cab and could not believe how cramped it was inside. My head was only about an inch from the roof. Wish I could drop the top on the truck as well.

The Jeep looks very nice. But I think it needs some bonnet strips. Too bad the top on the Jeep does not go down as easily as the MINI.

Enjoy!

Golly. I know what you mean. Early in my driving life I would only have convertibles and their tops would be up only when it rained. Nothing quite so blissful when everything is going well. But over the years (decades?), the combination of an increasingly hostile environment and my weatherbeaten old age ended that. Glad to know top down motoring is still enjoyable in some parts of the country. You're fortunate.

MINI and Jeep - definitely two icons.

I'm probably going to have to sell my Jeep to make room for MINI #2 - kind of a mixed blessing. I'm more of a 'MINI person' than a 'Jeep person', but still, you get kind of attached to 'em. . .especially considering that I've had the Jeep since it was brand-new in '93.
