R52 R52 S Convertible Top Issue
R52 S Convertible Top Issue
Ok... so I have dug through all the threads here and many other places and I seem to have an issue that doesn't fall into any of the typical areas. Please help!
When putting the top down it goes into sunroof mode easily and without issue. When pushing the top down button again, the windows do their thing as expected, the latches release as the top slides back, then everything stops and I get the flashing red light. I can close everything by using the close button. The parcel shelf switches seem to be ok, since the top unlatches, etc.before I get the red flashing light. Has anyone experienced the same this / what issue does this sound like to everyone? Does this sound like a hall sensor issue?
Much appreciated as always - Motor On!

There's also a push button on the upper left corner in the boot door frame. It has a short throw. I stuck a small felt chair leg pad on the boot door opposite and have never had a problem.
Thanks for the thought. All the rear switches / microswitches are engaged as the sliding portion of the top makes it 3-4" move back as the latches unlock. Then everything stops and I get the flashing light. Just borrowed a Snap-On scanner - got a Control Unit Not Coded and a Coding Data Incorrect. Sounds like I need to dig out the control module. Thoughts anyone?

Yep the lines can leak and if the fluid reservoir leaks you have to replace the bump.
