Transmission Type

I have a 2005 cooper S convertible with automatic transmission. I also have a paddle shift. I understand that there are 2 types of automatic transmissions that came in this model.

How do I know? I just want to buy the right fluid and filter kit.

You have the Asin auto tranny....all S cars with an auto,, including the r53's had it....
All non s cars, r52 and r50 with auto got a CVT....
