No heat in my wife's R52 front seats

My wife drives a very well maintained 2007 R52 with about 100k miles. The seat heater buttons light up but neither seat gets warm at all. I just did my own butt test today to confirm no heat so I haven't started any trouble shooting.

Any experience/advice with seat heaters? My R53 seats heat up fine and my wife is getting jealous!

Thanks!

Check the fuse for the seat heaters in the fuse box, also check the plugs under the seats and at the switch button itself. If you have a the factory retrofit kit there is an inline fuse on the main wire harness. 61110145996

The fuse is good and all the connections (seats and switches) are fine. I'm pretty sure this was a factory install as it was a one female, dealer serviced car before I bought it a year ago.
I think I may try the "warmer seat adapter wire" that is mentioned in the link you included.
Thanks for the info!

You are welcome, I had the warmer plugs added to mine and it very nice now. It was not that hot when i bought it new. I was used to heated seats from BMW's in the past that had heat at stage 5
