Washed my 06 R52 for the first time after buying it 2 1/2 weeks ago yesterday. Everything turned out great, but I watched a few small drips form and drip down the inside of all of my side windows in the process. The wash was pretty thorough, so it may have been that?
It wasn't much water (maybe 3-4 drips down each window), but the seal around the window seemed to be wet and not 100% sealing. Is this normal? The seals seem to be in good condition.
Thanks!

There is at least on thread on here dedicated to this and other R52 problems. I had something similar and changed the whole seal (wasn't cheap) only to discover that didnt fix the problem. My problem turned out to be that the windows themselves needed to be adjusted because they did not move far enough upward to properly seal. The real cost to fix was labor and you tube. Moral of the story, start with the cheapest option first. Lesson learned on my part.

Around the window seal can be adjusted by the window itself :

, they put spacers on the seal right above the rear window.
Also they front seal can be updated:

+1. A $5 bicycle gear tool and a few minutes of tinkering solved all of my problems. Tight as a drum now.Originally Posted by Swimbaxter

Good info. I noticed that my R52 (just purchased a month ago) was leaking on passenger side when I washed it. Will have to add to my "fix it" list
