Sorry for the stupid question but some time ago I removed the rear deck and in the process detached the two short lifting harnesses, with the ball on one end. Now I can't figure out where the loops attach on the top.

On the rear hatch there 2 grommet buttons.
The loops attach to the buttons.

 

Help me here, where on the rear hatch? Thought I had looked everywhere.

With the rear hatch open, look toward the top of rear window.
Look to the left corner of window, just below the corner there is a loop holder.
It is round and held on by screw.
There is one on each side.
Hope this helps.

 

The dealer will reconnect it for 1/2 labor....same as adding air to your tires
just region the loop....
