I have a 2006 Sport Conv and have been doing a lot of research on chip tuning, but still have two unanswered questions. Is there actually a rev limiter on my mini? Can chip tuners adjust the shift points. I believe the answer to question #2 is no because they are variable and adapt to the user but I needed to ask any how. From what I have agthered the chip tuners cannot remove the limiter or adjust the shift points.
