R52 Wear spots on cabrio top
Wear spots on cabrio top
I have a number of shiny spots and a couple of frays on the vertical back part of my top near the back windows.
I have had some experience with cloth top covertibles (saabs) and generally have not seen frays or shiny spots until 10 years/125000 miles.
My cabrio is less than 2.5 years old and less than 30,000 miles. My next visit to the dealer I will bring this up. Is this normal on the mini cabrio?

I've only had my top replaced once and that was at about 6k because it came with
some sort of blemish from the factory and although I was not really worried about the
blemish the dealership offered to replace it for free.
I presently have 48k with the replacement top and its still holding steady.
