Pricing advice, please: 05 Cooper Cabrio

Understanding that free advice is worth what is paid for it, I wonder what some opinions are about what I could get for my 05 Cooper Cabrio. Here's the details:

2005 MCc
  • Excellent Condition
  • 28k Miles
  • 16" Bridge Spokes and Performance Run-Flats w/ 5k miles from my 07 R56
  • Clear Bra
  • Automatic
  • Cool Blue Metallic
  • Cool Blue Colorline Interior
  • Aero Kit
  • OEM Driving Lights
  • Cold Weather Package
  • Aux Input

I've checked KBB and Edmunds and am just not confident that those sites are so accurate these days.

Thanks for your time!

Personally, I've always found KBB to be too high, especially in the current economy. Obviously, this is why the banks use it - the higher the loan amount, the bigger the profit. The last time I bought a new car (2001), I relied on edmunds and found their TMV to be close to what buyers were paying. I'm sure you're aware of the gap between KBB and Edmunds. I bought my '06 Mini a month ago for ~$1800 BELOW Edmunds Trade-In Value (~$2800 below KBB Trade-In Value). This was a trade-in from the previous owner, so the dealer probably made a profit before they sold it to me. But they flatly turned down my offer... then agreed to it a week later. The car was on the lot for 2.5 months.

As with any sale or purchase I make, I tried to find comparable market pricing on the same or similar items that were recently transacted. Using that as reference to price your Mini... add/subtract as you deem fair for the items you've added. Advertise it high first and see what happens. Local market condition varies.
