R52 For your enjoyment.. Da new MINI
Both of you are wrong about the color. The official name is "White Silver" (not to be confused with "silver white"
).
Actually I do wish it were silver white, i.e. more white than silver. When the color was first announced, I was hoping it would be a metallic pure white (not off-white like PW). Alas, it turned out to be yet another shade of silver.

You got me there. See my attachment that does say it is White Silver.

And lemme tell ya... It is sooooooooo nice to get into the car after 12 hours of work in the ER, sink into those sofffffft english leather seats, turn on the heated seats, put the sunroof back and drive on home at 3:30am..
The soft glow of the instrument lights as well as the chrono package and the over head lights that softly shine down illuminating oh so softly the center area.. The way the shifter simply feels like butter going into gear. And then I turn on the Harmon Kardon sound and its unbelievable. I drive home and arrive 50 minutes later, wishing it took me longer to get home.
Can't remember when a car I had felt so good.

I KNEW you would enjoy it mini1966! Great description and I also vouch that there are few cars quite like the first-gen MINI for feel.
Pete, to fix this thread so it is not so friggin wide, just edit your intial post and place some line spaces in between the pics. You might get more responses to your thread if it was not so wide and cumbersome to navigate.
Nice looking MINI!!!
Well, I know that lots of people would love to have the night spokes so I am sure you could buy a set of what you want and recoup most of that money/make a small profit buy selling the night spokes. Also, I am insanely jealous of the seats. The black lounge seats almost made me rethink the whole 'vert thing. And now that I see black lounge seats in a vert it makes me want them even more. So if you ever feel like getting ride of those seats you know who to call.

Unfortunately I only live 3 miles from work...so I ALWAYS have to take some sort of scenic route!
Peter... you are selling the car because of an emergency? That's a drag. Hope things are not too serious. What lousy luck.
MINI of San Francisco is listing a 2007 [used, 3600 or so miles] on Craig's List for more than you are listing yours at [$33,000]. Can't you sell it back to the or a dealer? Seems they are looking for cars to sell.
Wish I had the $$ to help and take it off your hands.
