Golf Bag Storage

Has any one put 2 sets of clubs in a Cabrio with the back seat down? I know they fit the coupe, but would much rather buy the cab!!

I fit 2 sets all the time, it's a bit tougher than just one set but you can get it to work.

I'd love to know how you get 2 sets in.... I've given up and just lay my clubs in the front passenger's seat. If I lay them down in the back seat, I have to angle them up (with the weight of the whole bag resting on the shafts of the longest clubs) or move the front passenger seat quite a way forward and angle the heads toward the passenger seat back. My bag is almost small enough to fit through into the boot with the back seatbacks folded down. (My only gripe so far.)

Well, what I do is lay the seats down, and from the front slide one set of clubs in at an angle through the trunk area (kind of at an angle) then lay the second set on top. It's a little tight but it works. I guess I should have mentioned the bag that goes through the trunk is my wife's and therefore is just a bit smaller than mine. But mine will also fit into the trunk its just a bit harder to get it out of that area.

Guess I need a skinnier bag. Can't get mine in for the life of me. Oh well, I don't golf much and I'd be tempted to take the mini on the cart path instead of renting one of those electric models.

Or, the ultimate solution - saves money for a cart when you get to the course....http://www.minidomore.com/mini_coope...ub_carrier.php

Just to be clear on this BEFORE I buy, are you saying that you can't get 2 bags (cart bags) in the cabrio thru the trunc with the back seats down

I can get two sets in mine but not both are "cart bags" the other is just about as big but the sides give a little so it will squeeze into the trunk area.

That costs more than my clubs did. I think I can throw them in the back seat just fine. Besides, my neighbors make fun of me enough as it is... if I got something like that, I'd get no relief.

I know it can be done, especially if you have a thinner carry bag. I might advise that you take 2 sets of sticks to the dealer to see if you can make it work for you. It's not a slam dunk - it takes a little pushing and shoving....

I bought a really skinny range bag that holds all my clubs. Believe me, i love the cabrio, but golf and the cabrio really sucks together. If you are gonna play a lot, I would look at the regular mini vs the cabrio to be honest

My golf bag fits behind the passenger seat standing up, and still leaves plenty of leg room for a passenger in the front and one in the back, I'm fairly certain unless you have a really large size bag it would still fit 2 standing up on the floor behind the passenger seat

I can easily get 2 carry bags into my Cabrio. You need to fold down the rear seat. Set one bag diagonally across the seat and into the boot. Remove the woods from the second bag and lay the bag across the 1st bag. then lay the woods in the remaining spaces. Then go out and set a new course record.
