Considering that all convertibles up to this point are 1st Gen MINIs (not 2nd Gens, where this was originally posted), I'm moving this thread to 1st Gen Cabrio Talk.

$200 bucks a year over 5 years is not so bad. Of course I have already spent 5k or 6k changing out aftermarket parts that I didn't like. Maybe there needs to be a cost comparison of cars that you will spend money to mod over the first 5 years.
