Dog Ramps?

To all fellow dog + cabrio owners:
Is there an easy way to get puppies in and out of the back seat? Short of lifting them in, my dogs seem to have a hard time making the climb up and the turn. They are medium sized (a Sheltie and an Eskie).
They both leap out somewhat ok, kinda bouncing off the back of the seat then down to the ground.

Anyone build anything to help? or come across anything?
Thanks!

I just lifted my puppy (a beagle) up when I had to. It wasn't long until he could jump in and out all by himself. I would just wait a bit, they'll grow fast, before long they won't need any help.

i guess i use "puppies" too liberally, they are both 4
the problem is the sharp turn they have to make to get around the drivers seat in and out. even with it pushed all the way forward, it seems really awkward. maybe I just need to let them get used to it?

Neither of my 2 year old Shelties have a problem. Maybe just give them time to work it out on their own.

What kind of seat covers are you all using? (if any)
What about seats folded down vs normal sitting.

My sheltie can JUST poke her nose thru the back window if the seat is set normally as for humans.

I can hardly wait to take our black Lab for a top down cruise. I usually do the heavy and awkward lifting in and out of the car. We'll need to trim her nails first.

The hound mutt will have to stay behind as she has psychological issues exacerbated by car rides.

This depends on if we have the rear seats up or down. Usually they are up and the dogs just jump right into the rear floor and then up on the seats. We don't allow the dogs to stick their heads out of the windows. Had an experience with debris in the eye of one of our previous dogs.

We don't use an actual seat cover, just a blanket that is easy to wash.

i'm really considering installing something on the back of the drivers seat.
my sheltie, who would be happy to just live in the car, wouldn't/couldn't make the jump again today, and turned down a ride. :(

Have you tried putting a dog treat/cookie on the back seat to bribe her up there? Worked for mine.........

My Eskie is just as likely to jump into the front seat, then go between the two seats to the back.
