HELP! How do you disconnect battery on S Cabrio???
My electrical system has gone daffy - airbag and seatbelt lights went on, windshield wipers started, and turn signals stopped working. I pulled off the road to shut down and restart to no avail. Now that I'm safely home, I shut down the car but the driving lights and brake lights are still lit. How do you disconnect the battery on this thing? I tried pulling the contacts in the + box used for jump starting, but that didn't do anything. The owner's manual is worthless on this issue.
How do I pull the plug on this demon? Assistance before my battery dies would be appreciated.

The MCSC's had an issue with the evaporator drain tube being kinked & soaking the footwells. It is likely the BCM (Body Control Module) has gotten water into it and once it does will cause all kinds of goofy things. It is located in the passenger front footwell. If this is the case, sadly it will likely need a dealer to resolve as the BCMs must be flashed.
As a side note: to discharge the entire electrical system, if the battery terminals & disconnected & held together, all capacitor in the car will discharge & the vehicle will reset itself (i.e. all computers start at zero)
Best of luck, hopefully it will be a warranty issue & no charge to you.
