R52 Mod Ideas
+1 on the parcel shelf - the single best mod I've done in terms of how much use it gets.
+1 on assorted "youification" as well. Probably the most fun part of owning your MINI
I'm a big fan of boot and bonnet stripes.

I've learned that the ones from Moss MINI are Multivex.
I don't know what the "euro" means on the Multivex website. Their website was recently updated, and the listing for MINI mirrors didn't say euro previously. MINI European and US mirrors have the same size.

I own an 06 Cabrio. The best bang for the buck is the M7 USS[ Under Strut System] basically, a body stiffening brace, stictly a bolt on affair, that will transform your car into a canyon carving omnivore! You will be amazed how much better your car handles. I gained at 10-15mph per curve, on average. I think it should be standard equipment on all Cabrios
And please tell us how much this omnivourous mod cost, Dr Pepper / Blimey.

In no way does the USS make the ride harsher or worse. Only better. The USS isn't modifying the cars suspension AT ALL. All it's doing is making the chassis stiffer - like it should be. The chassis CAN'T be too stiff, IMHO. It's job IS to be stiff. Without the USS, the suspension has to do some work it shouldn't have to do - counteracting the flex of the chassis - while it's also trying to do what it IS supposed to do, which is "smooth out" the road. With the USS, the suspension can work like it's supposed to. It IMPROVES ride comfort, reduces vibration, improves front wheel grip, and improves steering response as a result. All without modifying the suspension one bit.
$400 new. Used ones can be found on the NAM marketplace. For some reason this has disappeared from the M7 website???

After doing research on a performance exhaust for the Cooper Cabrio, I found no after-market ones available that wouldn't need some custom bending/welding to fit. There are exhausts available for the S Cabrio, but not the Cooper. So the only option was the JCW sound kit. I paid $1200 for mine installed. Pricey, but it's a great kit and my warranty is intact, so it was worth it. Performance gains were minimal but the sound is phenomenal, and you get some nice JCW bling.
I agree on many of the things mentioned by others. I have installed the following:
JCW Sound Kit
MTH Basic ECU Remap
ITG Foam Drop-In Filter
Alta 19mm Rear Sway Bar
M7 Strut Reinforcement Plates
Euro Parcel Shelf
Euro Arm Rest (the best!)
OEM Glove Box Organizer
OEM Wind Deflector
Pulsar Third Brake Light
Backup Light (in rear fog light spot)
Multivex Mirror on passenger side
Ian Cull Auto Up Circuit with Garage Door Opener
The ImagoX "Light That Boot" Mod
M7 Understrut System (installing soon)
That's most of the the functional stuff. Except for my new Konig Rewinds and Kumho tires, everything else is for appearance. Since the Cooper is not as easy to upgrade for engine performance, I have done a lot of mods just for looks.
Forge Alloy caps under the bonnet
Chrome Spark Plug Caps
MINI Wings Oil Dipstick
Color Matched Plug wires
Color Matched Shift Ball
Redline Goods Custom Shift and EBrake boots
Chrome Door Panel Buttons
Leather Door Handle Covers
CooperFlags Checkered Roof Graphic
Cooper Contacts from MINISwag
Chrome Oogah Horn with Color Matched Button
And for some piece of mind while driving:
Valentine One Radar Detector, hard-wired with remote display (Installed with tips from BlimeyCabrio and ImagoX)
Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx with Suction cup mount

I just noticed this too. I just bought mine a week ago and now it isn't listed anywhere on the M7 site. WTF?
