R50/53 Favorite motoring CD
Always DMB
Not a doubt.. DMB is always jamming on my radio. You just cannot beat a Dave Matthews scat. Another great jam; Robert Randolph.. a southern down and dirty steel guitar playing cat that jams with the best of them. It is all in that raw, jamming, scat music... turn it up and head out for the twisties
Some of my Favs~
Dave Matthews
* Live Trax (Boston) Disc 1 'Grey Street'
* Weekend at Red Rocks 'Louisiana Bayou'
* Best of What's Around (Live)
* Listener Supported

Music to jam to.
I have a 30GB iPod with a specific "Driving Songs" playlist that has more than 2000 songs on it, but I like to jam to anything by Beck, Dave Matthews, Imogen Heap, U2, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Nickel Creek, Jars Of Clay, Anberlin, Copeland, Relient K, Matisyahu is good.... Anything with a good beat and rhythm...

It's been a long time since I have been really impressed with a new release. Now there are two: Rush - Snakes and Arrows and Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium. I have never been a fan of either band, though I like a lot of their music, but these 2 cds are great. @ full dcs from the Peppers and not one bad song. Of course, I am a drummer, so I pay particular attention to that.
A topic near and dear to my wizened little heart!
I think, for me, it depends on the time of day; early (5:30-6:00 AM), it would be the Allman Brothers' Band "Eat A Peach, followed by, once again, Who's Next". At Noon, segue into The Stones' "Git Yer Ya Yas Out". Afternoon will bring Joni Mitchell's "Hegira" (it's all about the road, man!). The evening gots to be Mile Davis and John Coltrane, and motoring late (after Midnight), I'm partial to early Tom Waites
And then the next day......
