The other boards are quoting an article that says at Mini's cost, we'll just have to wait to see but here might be a indicator:

"Pitney says all U.S. Minis, new and used, will get rear fog lamps" If used are included that would indicated they are provided free of cost.

Now how about the windshield? Marcus have you seen the threads on the Owners Lounge Boards?

You all should just do the rear fog light to double brake light mod. It takes about 1 cent of wire & solder to do, 1/2 hour of your time, and no special tools. With all these SUVs on the road that have the stopping distance of a freight train, I'd rather have the visibility of an extra brake light on each side than a fog light, wouldn't you?

I have this brake light mod and I think I'm going to keep it. It does me more good than a rear fog light. It's rarely foggy in Colorado!

I would like to get rid of that blank though. Maybe, I could just get the new switch panel installed....

I totally agree. Fog is not that big a problem in Las Vegas. I'll keep the brake light mod. Of course, I'd like to fill up my toggle bank.
