Creaking and groaning

Since this cold spell hit Michigan last week I have noticed more crashes, creaks, squeaks and general unpleasantness from inside the car. Come on warm weather so I can enjoy my realatively quiet ride to and from the office!

One area of frequent rattles tend to be the rear seats, Fold them down and notice how certain rattles go away.

I'm in Michigan too but my cooper is tight. Must be because it is a month old... However, the creaks, squeaks and general unpleasantness are coming from me, not the car...

My JCW is definitely not a morning car! Especially with all of this cold weather. It's sluggish, there's a few extra creaks, moans, and groans, etc. But, like it's owner, it becomes much more alert, friendly, and personable when it warms/wakes up a bit!
