My 2003 Mcs Has Navi. I'm Trying To Figure Out The Possibility Of Removing The Nav And Installing A Factory Speedo. Can Some One Tell Me If The Column Mounted Tach Also Has A Digital Speedo On It? If So, Are There Any Controls To Change The Function On The Tach. I Just Had A 2007 Mc Rental, And Noticed A Button On The Turn Signal Lever That Toggled Between Mph & Temp On The Tach.

but that is the on-board computer option. I have nav so I don't know all the details on that..... You'll need a bunch of parts... There's a thread on electrical mods, and one on the nav systems, where you might get better information. TheOfficeMaven and Greatbear are two good references. I don't know how often TOM posts, but he (she?) knows tons on the nav system. If you do pull it you'll get real good $ for it from eBay. Even though it's a CD system (if it's DVD, I'd love the unit under the passenger seat! Mines' a CD system), they still sell for good bucks. Might pay for all the parts you need.
