R50/53 Bug Decapitation...!
#1
I was out for a pleasant--albeit grossly bug filled--drive with my friend today. We stopped at a gas station to clean the goo off my windscreen, as visibility was becoming an issue. When I went to lift the first wiper, there was a GIANT bee. Like a queen bee. But it had been driven, by force of wind, I suppose, through one of the gaping holes along the top of the wipers. It was sliced in half, kinda... but still alive. I was disconcerted by the inhumanity. Then I noticed... several other giant bugs had met similar fates in my wipers!
I've never noticed this on any other car. It was really yucky. And I just thought I'd share.

Stoners Invisible Glass works wonders on the bug guys too. Just a couple of wipes and you're done. Good stuff.
>>lol...Rain X cuts down the amount of bug goop that sticks to the windows...and makes it easier to clean off. also works quite well on the wheels for the brake dust problem. thought I would pass it along

Thanks for the Rain X and Stoners suggestions--will definitely try them, as I've no intention of standing around a Sheetz scrubbing at my windows with a funky squeegie-sponge thing ever again.
Um.... when, exactly, are the "Love Bugs" out in La? Cause I hate bugs... and I'm going to Louisiana this summer... and it would be just my luck if you were to tell me that "Love Bugs" are at the height of their population in August...
Also... what ARE "Love Bugs"?
Ick.
