Need Opinions - what to do first?

I've got a 2004 Mini Cooper S 6 speed. It is in great condition, but there are no modifications done to this car yet. I want to change that without spending a whole lot of money. I want to make it look and sound great...possibly do a little to the engine and some cosmetic. I want some of your opinions about where to start on my car and some good parts I could buy.

Hi new guy!
For sounds (on a budget), get a cold air intake and a one-ball exhaust mod.
For looks, check out www.cooperflags.com and www.aestheticreations.net/
Way too many choices between the two!

Thanks! I know for my brother's BMW, the K&N cold air intake provided it with a deeper sound when at higher RPMs. How does it sound on a cooper s? Deeper like the bimmer or does it add to the supercharger sound?

Your gallery is empty. How about some pics so we can advise you on what might be the best cosmetic mods for your MINI ?

Personally, I've done quite a few of these aesthetic mods on my MC in the seven months I've had it. My favorites:

1. Boot stripes
2. Custom leather boots for shifter and e-brake
3. Custom door sill plates
4. Checkered rearview mirror cap
5. Custom center wheel caps

Some of these mods are in my gallery. If you want to see pics of any of the others, let me know and I'll pull them out of my PhotoBucket gallery.

Happy Modding !

best dressup is

#1 Lower your ride height.
#2 wheels
#3 Aero kit

Then, get an intake and exhaust.

Or do you mean sound as stereo? first thing is BassLink.

Thanks everyone everything helps. to clarify i meant sound as in the actual car. It seems to me the harmon/kardon sound system that comes in the mini has excellent sound. I will get some pictures up tomorrow also
