R50/53 So what do you guys think? (Advice Thread)
So what do you guys think? (Advice Thread)
Since there really is no car buying topic, I'd like to see what some of you think of this deal.
So I am in the market for a used MCS, I would buy new, but keep in mind I am a college student, and therefore, broke (haha).
I work an office job and wing about $1,200/mo so affording my lil Coopah has been a breeze, but I've always wanted an "S".
This leads me to my little search of trying to find the perfect one, and so far have only come up with two that I find suitable for me. One being a modified 2004 CR/B for $24,000 w. 24--- on it. The other being this lil guy:

^I am more inclined to go with "Smokey" on this one due to the low mileage, features on it (It's frigid up here, I NEED the cold pack), as well as price. Availability is important, but I'm very willing to drive for the car I want.
If you can't see the link, the car is a 2004 DS/B for $19,800 w. 13--- on it.
Let me know what you think, and happy motoring!

Seriously, the one shown in the link looks like a well equipped, low mileage car.
Best of luck in your decision!

I'm just going to watch this thread and wait for the first post directing you to save your money and purchase a beater to get you through college so as not to strap yourself with additional debt and yadda yadda yadda...
Interesting that there's such a price discrepancy -- all things being equal, the cheaper one wth less miles (the chili pack IS nice...) seems appealing to me, personally.
Good luck!

I'm waiting for it too! Really though, I'm getting my Associates right now and then transferring out so my school only cost about $3,000 a year (NICE). College payments are the least of my worries. Selling Mr. Coopah is priority.
Thanks for your input guys!
(BTW a few might remember my thread on Jet blacks, well, this is the closest thing I can find to one!
