Just went online to several appraisal sites. Here are my results:

NADA - 22,000
KBB - 24,000
edmunds - 19,000

Searched autotrader 100 miles around my area. The most similar to my car was a 2004 S with 10,000 miles on it for 22,000

Sounds like a good deal to me.

I live in Michigan and would only go back to MCM if they were the last place on earth I could go. Arrogant, rude, dismissive and dishonest. One douchebag there told me he had to remove the entire front clip to change out the little chrome pieces on the old chromline bumper trim on the Cooper. In actuality, you don't. And that's only the tip of the iceberg. Why they still have a franchise is beyond me.

Classic, on the other hand, has been very good to me.

You paid a lot of money for a 3 model-year old car.

Accept it.

Those aren't credible sources.

Look at real cars for sale.

I did look at cars for sale, and NADA is regarded as one of the best sources for used car values.

Regarded by who, you?

Look at cars FOR SALE

There are no cars for sale in the NADA guide.

You paid too much. Accept it.

You're right, this car is definately not for sale and I definately did not look at it. I completely made it up.

Since 1 perfect example and 2 out of 3 very well known sites aren't good enough, here you go.

They are all great. The service techs there are crap though. Make the drive to Classic MINI in Cleveland for all your waranty repairs.

Dude, Leave rhubbard alone. He is ensuring the prices remain high. You will thank him when you sell yours.

Those cars aren't going to sell that high.....unless a buyer like you comes along.

You paid too much.

How much proof do you need? At least I have something to back up what I say, everything you say is just an opinion and really means nothing.

And are you telling me that all these people who are selling their cars for 23K or 24K are gonna knock down their price 3 or 4 thousand dollars? Market is irrelevant for a car like this because they are in demand everywhere.

When you show me a MINI that is being advertised for less than 20K with 13,000 miles on it, then I'll pay attention to something you say.

I'm bored with you.

I have to know what used car ACVs are in YOUR local market area for a living.

I know you paid too much. I don't care whether you do.

I also know that Motor City Mini sucks, which is the topic, not you and your lack of used car savvy.......
