I like the OEM mats because they lock to the floor. Too bad the coco don't do that .

I chose rubber mats and still glad that I did. Have had them for a year and a half.......recently used Griot's Rubber Cleaner which helped to restored them to great condition. I don't think they'll really ever wear out. They're much appreciated in wet weather. I also got the boot mat which feels more like plastic than rubber.......but it still does the trick.

I have an '02 S that I took the OEM carpet mats out of and replaced with solid Black Coco Mats. They have little rubber teeth that prevent them from moving - plus they are custom made for the MINIand fit like a glove. They wear like iron and are considerably thicker than the OEM units. If you want to buy the OEM units (4 pieces) I'll sell them for $25 plus shipping within the US. They are gray by the way - perfect shape with about 3 days use.

As much as I love my Cocomats they do tend to slide up and I'm constantly adjusting them with my heal. It is annoying and I'm thinking about putting a couple of grommets into the driver side mat and clipping it to the seat frame to prevent this.

After a year the Cocomats still look as good as new.
