If I were repainting mine (which I would love to do) I would paint it a deep metallic purple-black, so that it looks black until the sun hits it. I have the cordoba interior, so I think that would look pretty sick, on mine at least. I'm also a fan of the Hot Orange, pity it only comes on the 'verts.

 

It would probably cost much less to repaint the problem section BRG. I also personally like the color.

 

Go totally custom. I love the M7, which reminds me of an Merc I saw years ago that looked bright pearl with about a 1" layer of clear gloss.

Or go all Thunder Blue from the GP pallete. I'd consider TB/S on my MC but I'd have to get a CP badge for "Cheapie" number 0000.
