Anyone else have a rubbing sound?

I am getting a rubbing sound from my car any time I turn my wheels at very slow speeds. Could this be the run-flats? It sounds like it is coming from the tires but I'm not positive. Just wondering if this was common on MINIs since I've only had mine a month.

Do you have LSD? If so they need to change the fluid. I had mine changed last week and sound is gone . They are other threads that talk about it.

Should I have to have it changed after only one month? The car only has 1300 miles on it.

it could be the sound of the wheels rubbing across the ground? probably not, but a guess...

you didn't mention if you had the LSD. If so yeah there is a service bulletin issued. I waited till my first service but why wait?

No LSD. It's an S model with premium and sport packages. No other options. The sound isn't awful and I'm not sure if it can be heard outside of the car but it's enough to be somewhat annoying. I'll probably take it to the dealer next week I was just looking for some feedback to see if this is normal and if it may just be my runflats which I have never had before.

Mine too!!!

I just noticed this same thing on my 2002 Cooper....I bought used and I don't think I've got LSD (not on my car anyways ) It's coming from the right front on mine, I'm starting to think it's either a sllightly warped rotor or the caliper is hanging just a bit....i'll be changing my front pads soon cuz the dust is killing my rims...I'll check it out then....I'll repost if I come with anything
