have a cooper with amost 1200 miles on it, got it about 3 weeks ago, and all of a sudden the windows are REALLY noisy (squeaks) when going up or down....anyone else have this problem? This amount of noise seems excessive for power windows. . .

Nope, sorry. I'm nearing 3k miles and mine are stil very quiet. If your dealership service center isn't too far away, set up a time to bring it in. Just make sure you duplicate them problem for them- show them exactly what's going wrong or what it is you're hearing...
