R50/53 Advice for the Dragon
These helpful safety tips are killin' me ... Drive it like a stolen bicycle! For all of us that would test the tire stiction, body roll, true rev limit zone etc., for gawd sakes push it! If the tires ain't squeekin' you be leakin'!
Fooey to the blasted cops anyway. An out of state moving violation will never catch up to your insurance.

My advice would be to definitely not sightsee. You'll need all your attention focused on the road and especially on oncoming traffic. Thankfully when I was down there a couple of weeks ago the all of the bikers were very well behaved, but always be on your guard for folks coming over the double yellow.
Bring Dramamine for your passengers, roll the windows down so your ears have something to do besides freaking out trying to maintain your equilibrium, wait one hour after eating a big meal before "swimming", and most importantly, don't forget to yell YEEEEHAWWWWW on the really good twisties
We went on Sunday, and I'm still leaning into the turns in my office chair when I move my mouse

Good idea, but this map doesn't come close to giving you any idea of the actual number of turns, elevation changes, sharpness of turns, etc.
It is a good reference, but probably not worth memorizing.
As an example, look at the pointer showing the location of the "Gravity Cavity". No map in the world can prepare you for this incredible series of turns and elevation changes, and it is different depending on the direction you are travelling.

My wife and I were there this summer on bikes. Have a great time, plan to drive it several times. Stay in your lane. Downshift. Watch for semis, they take the whole road, saw 3 on the dragon while we were there, and almost left Kawasaki parts on the mountainside. Eat at Sweetwater, try the fried pickles! Have fun, and tell us what you thought!
