Still awaiting the call from our dealer for our new 2006 ChiliRed/White Top Cooper S. My MA predicted that he would receive it by yesterday...Nope

Maybe tomorrow or Saturday, we'll get the call.

I'm curious to know how many of you hear from others when they learn that you have or are getting a MINI, that they want a ride in it! Everybody wants some.

I told my wife to tell her friends and coworkers that it's not a carnival ride, but that they will need to purchase tickets to ride.

i didn't get as many people who wanted to ride it as much as they wanted to drive it, however, i'm pretty particular about my car so after a while they don't want to deal with all the rules of driving the MINI, no talking on phone, no eating/drinking, park far from other ppl, etc.

 

Please remain seated and keep your arms safely inside until the vehicle comes to a complete stop.

 

Most of my co-workers have asked for a ride. I will make them buy lunch.

 

Ever seen the MINI commercial w/ the guys driving into the carnival parking lot? That one is my most favorite ever!!! Can't find a link unfortunately...guess it was yanked for being to realistic!!

 

Come to think of it, I don't remember seeing any MINI commercials ever. Guess the word of mouth thing really works.
