I laughed at the time, but he was right Everyone loves a [girl in a] MINI
Or maybe they just love the mini?

If I knew I girl with a MINI, I would be extremely interested, infact any nice european car will do the trick for me. I know a girl with a beautiful Passat, and that was sweet. It helps that she is beautiful to begin with, and the car compliments her nicely.

Interesting Antecdote: When I found out that the above mentioned girl drove the Passat, I mentioned that I liked it in class (we sit next to eachother) and we were talking, and she just stopped short, and practacally yelled: YOU SHOULD TALK YOUR CAR IS ONE OF THE NICEST AT SCHOOL. I had to blush(in an extremely manly way) and humbly agree.

your answer is the mini is a niche car. its impractical and german.

Preludes and celicas were mass produced japanese cars. Not much rariety there , except if you drove the Celica GTS with turbo 4wd...

The mini can be called many things, "impractical" isn't one of them. Mine is perfectly practical.

We all know practicality is relative.

Its funny. The only people who ever stop me to ask about my mini are 40 - 50 year old men at gas stations who say, "whats the gas milage?" Im with the other folks that never get hit on. hehe
