Who knew the mini was so attractive to men? I know Trixie is cute but 3 men stopped me this week to comment and ask questions about her. This never happened with my Celica and Prelude. Today a guy told me "I've been drooling over your car ever since I saw it in the parking lot." That's a benefit I didn't expect....so much positive attention from the men. And whenever asked any question, I can't help but smile and gush about my car. I bet Trixie will land my next date.....she is one cute little vixen! I love my mini!!!

 

Must be the Indi blue that does the trick. It's all about the color and it matches your eyes you know.

How could you know I have Indi Blue eyes? I do and it just proves my point, people that like minis are charming, cool people! I haven't posted a pic of Trixie because she looks like any other stock Indi blue mini with white stripes on her bonnet. She is no more or less cute than any other mini out there...they're all cute!!

 

It does work ... Just maybe it is a combination of ride and driver

 

Most girls love my car cause its so cute, and i tell them "its not cute, its rugged and manly" or they like it cause its so small.

It does work both ways (for all the good it does me, happily married AND 54). When I'd had d'Mini about a month, I was at a convenience store, and a sweet little hottie about 18ish a couple of cars over blew me a kiss. I have to confess that made my day.

OK, OK, quick story... I owned a Mazdaspeed Protege for a while, looked like this:


The boys at my son's bus stop voted it "coolest Dad car in the neighborhood", and really liked it when I put the straight pipe on... must've been the 17's on the car (OE wheels), or the spoiler, or simply the black.

Now I drive this:

and when I got home the other day the only kids out were the girls (predominant age = 10-12) on their Razor scooters. They were gushing over the car... "it's so cute!" they said...

I told them not to get too close or it would bite off their leg. It is an "S" after all.

Call it a "chick magnet"...

 

A cute Italian guy stopped me one day and said **in a very sexy accent** "Nice car...wanna give me a ride". Momma mia!! I actually thought about it for a second before sanity prevailed.

I have had more men speak to me since I got my MINI. Probably a good thing I am not single anymore...I would be dangerous...

 

NAM is not that kind of site, Jim. There are plenty of other automotive enthusiast sites that feature bikini-clad females.

I recommend keeping your eyes open.
My MINI helped me find the love of my life...(only because he owned one too). I think there are several "we met because of our MINIs" couples on NAM.

 

I'm not surprised by this at all. You see, I have a theory (which means, prepare to be bored): The MINI is a welcoming car. It looks friendly. It is unusual. It is not threatening. The observer then attributes these qualities to the owner...they too must be welcoming. Approachable. Clearly not trying to compensate for anything with a car that small! So they stop to chat. Before you know it, you've made a friend, a date, a spouse, a stalker...

The effect is best summed up by Jack's line in "Sideways": I get chicks looking at me all the time, of all ages. Dudes too!

 

I can't say for sure that I've gotten a date solely because of my MINI but I think it has helped in a few situations (not that I need any help of course) The girls love my MINI...

 

My boyfriend listed this as a primary concern when I bought my MINI.. "You better watch out for all the guys that will be hitting on you when you take it out!"
