Just curious what you guys think of the packaged sets that you can buy from Tirerack and other suppliers... when my 17" runflats wear down enough I'll probably get another set of wheels for my new tires because I hear the S-Lite wheels are compatible with non run flat tires? Is this true??

Yes, I believe that is the case. And I have to say Tirerack was very knowlegeable...They called me to talk me out of run flats when I ordered a tire/wheel combo, and I'm really glad they did. The Kosei rims and Dunlap 205/50 16 tires I bought from them were a bargain, and the UPS guy actually made a special trip to get the tires to me because he was so anxious to get the out of his truck! (BTW, I'd recommend something lighter than the S-heavies if you are up for it!). You'd probably save a thousand mpgs traveling from the TZB to Brookfield!

 

MINI OEM wheels are compatable with any tire. You dont "need" to buy new wheels unless you want too

 

I think I want to; my poor S-Lites have the curb rash in spots... from the early days of driving with that bulldog stance. :-(
