About a foot long all the way into the primer. No two ways about it. Needs paint.

I hear you. Actually went back to the same Petco today to pick up a cat tree. Brought the Cabrio this time (the only way a 6 foot tall tree would fit ), but parked it on the street and left the wife with the car while I went inside to pick up the tree.

hehe. The earlier comments about gerbil gave me a fantastic idea:

A PLASTIC BUBBLE ENCLOSURE for the MINI! kinda like those bubbles where you stuff in an inconspicous gerbil/hamster/guinea pig and let them amble about, american gladiator style!

ps... the jcw version is hermetically sealed so no strains of mutant bird flu can attack!

Stuff like this makes me worry about my habit of walking off with my convertable top open...

*Slightly off topic*

After having bought Gromit, I'm selling my Suzuki Sidekick. Walked out to drive it to the car wash, to find some tweakers (druggies) had stolen the catalytic converter and half the exhaust pipe during the night! Thanks for insurance, because the new system runs over a grand without the labor!

Sorry to hear about your damage. Hopefully the repair won't take too long.

What I want to protect Gromit, are shields. As in USS Enterprise NCC-1701E. Maybe automatic phasers, leaves no evidence but a smoking hole where the jerk used to be!
