R50/53 little dent in door sill.

hi all!
i noticed today that i have a little dent on the chrome door sill on the passenger side of my mcs. i guess it's from when a passenger was in the car and caught the sill with the heel of the shoe. what can i do to fix it? take it off, and smooth out the dent, or just get a new sill from the mini dealer? any suggestion? any ideas? does any one know the part number from mini? :???:
