R50/53 Caution: Reading posts on this site can cause nervousness to new mini owners!
Too much fun to ever rant
I'm new to NAM. However, we just sold our '03 CR w Black MCS with 49843 miles on it. The few things that needed fixing were always fixed by my dealer w/o a fuss, e.g. new leather for the driver's seat at about 35,000 mi. I live about 100 mi from the dealer, so it's not an easy haul. No way will I EVER consider driving a Toyota to be as much fun as driving the MINI. BTW - the MINI is often selected over our BMW 540. Now we're hoping INIW (#2) will arrive before MTTS is over!

Also got it from Schomp in Denver. You will be fine. Just get out and enjoy the car.

Trust me I am LOVING the car and I am done worrying!! This is my first car website I've been on and I guess I wasn't prepared for the negative posts.
I'm good now!!!!

When shopping earlier this year, I ran a google search on "why the MINI cooper sucks" and the page count was far less than "why the (any other car) sucks." Can I say that word here?
At any rate, there was one person who must have been pretty upset. Their review was posted word-for-word on at least a handful of locations (and more by now, certainly).
