Lighting Question

I was looking at a night picture of my cars speedometer and i saw that it looked like white light, i was wondering, how does the speedometer and tachometer get its orange light and if its a bulb(s) can you change them?

You might get more answers if you put this in the Electrical Modifications forum rather than the general forum.

I believe somebody here has changed the backlight colors. I remember something about that maybe last summer. Try searching in the Electrical forum. I'm not sure it was simple, maybe some soldering to do.

you have to unslder the surface mount LED's and solder on new ones.

I would only reccomend doing it if your rather skilled at soldering in confined areas.
