I got flooded. Well, my MCS's boot got flooded really. I noticed it during last big rainstorm. Everytime it rains, there's water in the boot. I checked the seals, all looks fine. It's a bit scary, since the battery is right there.

Anyone else?

Does it get wet in the boot when your car is just sitting, or do you have to drive it first? Are you sure that water isn't just running in when the outside of the car is wet and you open the hatch?

I've noticed that water collects around the hatch and doors (such as when it rains) and then it's quite easy for this water to spill in when you open the boot or doors. This seems "normal"...but a real puddle in the boot that is not the result of standing water running in has got to be a bad seal.

Yeah, check that out carefully...not normal. Mine's dry as a bone. Might help to observe first as jsun recommended. I've fixed several small things myself that way...no big deal. If it won't fix though...off to the dealer.

I can't tell if it's only when the car is sitting in the rain, cause i drive it every day and didn't get a chance to catch it in the morning after a night rain. I'm sure it's not just when I open the boot - first time i noticed it, I had two full paper towel rolls in the boot, and both of them where completely soaked. I wouldn't notice otherwise, cause there's foam padding and black carpeting there, so you can't tell unless you touch.

Went to the dealer, showed it to them. They said the'd have to check it out thoroghly because it could be getting in through the rear lights, or from the bottom of the car, etc. I couldn't leave the car there, so I'll have to come back sometime soon.

Wish me luck.
