Do you have a rear strut brace? I traced my rattle to the rear seat latches...the Cobalt brace just doesn't have the fit tolerance of OEM...

had an 02 Cooper- Minor problems but all fixed. traded in at 50k miles. just got an 06 and the ride is so much better. I only have a little over 500 miles but going good! If the 07 looks like I think they will, I'll drive my 06 till it can't go any further!!!!!

I do not have a rear strut brace. I will be sure to check the rear seat latches, thanks for the tip. That rattle has got to be coming from somewhere.........
