MINI love

So I got my first paycheck today (from my first real, post-college job) and realized that I won't be making enough to afford my MINI and the supernice apartment I wanted to move into. I contemplated giving up Stella (who's currently in production), but I was walking to the drugstore at lunch today and there was a gorgeous Chili Red on the curb. I realized that I just couldn't do it! Looks like I'm going to be living with the 'rents a while longer and saving up, all for the sake of motoring!

I now understand the love/obsession; it's taken hold!

Get Stella first. The apartment will come.

I've wanted a MINI for over two years and promised myself once I graduated, I'd reward myself - Stella's definitely staying. She represents four years of hard work at UVA - she's not just a car! I can save while I'm living at home for the apartment; it makes more sense that way anyway than rushing right out to try to make it on my own. I really need to save up.

Lifes about choices. Just don't get in too deep in the debt area. Sounds like your making some good choices.

I do understand....I had this same thought when I was considering trading in my MINI two years ago. Could...not...do....it!! Actually, a MINI does really add something special to one's quality of life. If you can live in a less supernice apartment and have the MINI (which is what I do), that's great!! Few cars are worth it...but a MINI is!!!
