Love my bonnet and boot stripes on my MC. It completely changed the way she looks.

No problem with my stripes. I just treat them the same as the paint. Of course, I like to wax a freshly waxed car.

Since we're chatting among ourselves, I'll add that I have not...nor will...add stripes to my Cooper. Why??? Because I don't want a sporting image for my MINI...I want a simple, clean look...and I love the curves of the bonnet w/o any additional lines.

And......(brace yourselves).......I have a general beef with MINI stripes. In my opinion, they are too far in on the bonnet but should placed farther out to follow more closely the recess along the headlight "cowling." You may say, "gokartride, you are a hack and a curmudgeon" and you would be right, of course. At best, my opinion is a minority one. However, when I once queried a major after-market stripe supplier on the matter, they indicated installation over the complex curves at that spot would be a nightmare, and I respect that opinion, thus confirming my previous decision to go stripeless.

Do what makes you happy....voucher or not!!!

Exactly gokartride!
The major difference between the Cooper and the S, in my opinion, has nothing to do with engines or suspension. It is clean and pure design v ornamentation. I went with the S for complex socio-psycho reasons . . . but do regret leaving simplicity of line behind. That said, bring on the graphics!

I can vouch for that, some scumbag peeled one of my stripes off last weekend!
