I was doing some online gaming, wrecked my jeep and thought, "I totally would have made that in the MINI."

 

you look at every parking spot and think whether you can fit in or not

 

You know you are a MINI owner . . . when you take the longest route with the most twisties and you get there quicker than if you had taken the shortest, straightest route.

 

When you won't go for a drive unless you have donned your MINI themed shirt, hat, gloves, sunglasses and/or jacket!

 

When your beloved wife, who has a long commute and always wants you to drive, now wants to drive all the time if it's in the Mini.

 

When you were someone who didn't know the difference between a spark plug and a spare tire, and now you are reading car magazines and planning the next mod YOU are going to do yourself.

 

When you spend hours 'n hours reading 'n posting on NAM and all your vacation time is consumed with road trips in your MINI.

All of the gifts your friends and family give you start to revolve around toys for/related to your MINI.

Just saw my Dad yesterday and gave him a belated Father's Day present, and he had a present for me. My stepmom, the only one who knew what was in both boxes, insisted we open them at the same time. I got him an MCS EB/W model...he got me a HB/W MC, and actually painted a dual-pane sunroof and bonnet stripes on it to look like mine...

 

You know you're a MINI owner when you can't believe that a driver of an almost identical MINI to yours has to actually ask you if it's okay for her to pull into traffic in front of you from a driveway while you are waiting in line at a traffic light.

You cringe when a lady approaches you in a parking lot or gas station because you know she is going to go on and on about how cute your car is...

 

You can't sleep at night in your motel room travelling cause the mini is parked outside unprotected and lonely.

 

i almost hate to say but i have spent upwards of 8hrs a night on nam and almost always say goodnight to athena

 

Last night I washed the MINI. This morning I cut through a church/strip-mall parking lot to avoid driving through a puddle in the road and getting splashed from the car in the lane next to me.

 

... you wonder how many people have taken photos of your MINI with their cell phones in parking lots.

 

i caught somebody doing taking a picture of my mini in a parking lot the other day. seems a hummer parked in the back row to, i was a funny pic

 

I have come out to find quite a few people taking pictures of my little Imp.

You know you are a MINI owner when you not only park you car next to other MINI's but then tell your baby to have a good time with its cousins. And feel good knowing you didn't leave it with any of those less desireable cars.

I also find that though I have never been a car girl I sure spend a lot of time talking about my MINI!
