My twin came up behind me on the freeway a week after I bought my car. Turns out it was the one they had sitting out front the day I went to buy mine- am I just too into Minis when I can recognize the Chrono package from the standard from a lane over and at 80 mph?

 

yep... saw my 06 MCS AB/S twin about a month back.. all the same except he had the silver U on his hood... and didn't see the extra bullcrap that I have... lol

then saw another 06 AB/AB a few days ago...

 

I have never seen my twin, I have seen a Cooper S just like mine but it wasn't a JCW. I have only seen 1 other JCW ever driving around, and I see tons of Minis everyday!!
And actually i have never seen ANY 2 Minis that look alike, there is always something differnt. I just love that about Minis!!!

 

You need to throw out your CRT and get a new LCD monitor

 

I've seen a twin or two in the last week or so. Actually, last Friday, I was driving home and I thought I saw my wife in her Cabrio S... It wasn't her. I saw her twin as well.

The MINI in our area is growing rapidly!

 

last week driving down i95 and i look in my rearview mirror and i see approaching in my rearview mirror a fellow cr/w pre 05 MCS. turned out not ot be my twin since it had a s/r, but was pretty close and (not to sound odd) me and the other driver kind of had like a moment b/c as he was side by side by me we both looked at each other and gave a passing wave (well i gave a salute becuase thats the type of person i am)

 

There are two or three other Velvet Red/Black MINIs in Sactown. One was so excited to see a twin that he followed me around one day until I pulled over so we could talk. Another one won't even wave when we cross paths .

 

Nope, not very MINI's in my neck of the woods & I've only owned it for 2 days

We found our twin at a Mini gathering last month!! Other than on here I haven't seen too many other Indi Blue's in person! There are a few differences, so I guess we aren't idential twins, but we could be fraternal twins.

 

Living in a town of approx. 13,000, I had only seen one other Mini (2003 MC bue/w) and heard rumors of 2 others prior to ordering mine in Dec. '05. One day, after taking delivery in Feb. '06, my wife called and asked why the Mini was parked at the end of the road (there is a restaraunt there.) Well, after telling her it wasn't, I figured out there was a local twin. Think I've seen it once since then but it was a real quick look out a window and couldn't tell much about it other than it was S/B.

Not only am I pissed about a twin (not really) but this person is going to get me in trouble.

 

I haven't found a twin, not even at the Dragon. I've got two cousins, tho, and we are all in the Michigan MINI Motor Club. One even has a similar name...hers is Miles and mine is Giles.

 

I haven't seen my twin yet; in fact I haven't seen another Purple Haze outside of the local dealer.

 

the closest ive come was different wheels and mirror covers other then tht they were identical even on the inside!
