Walked out of the local MINI dealer feeling like CRAP today. Yeah, I did it! I had no business doing it. I just ordered some CRAP. CRAP; what was I thinking? It all started out yesterday when the odo rolled past 30,000. Hmmm.....Damn...... warranty's getting thin.....trade-in value's about to plummet........CRAP, I better stop by the dealership and see if they got something for this crappy feeling that just came over me. I love my 05 S. It's plenty fast. It's paid for and I was going to keep it until the wheels fell off. The only thing I'd consider instead of my 05 PW/B MCS would be an 06 JCW. A while back, I caught a stone in the windscreen. It left a 1 inch hairline crack but it never spread. That and 30,000 miles pushed me over the edge. Time to get a new windscreen; a JCW windscreen; CRAP! Now, I'm waiting for my MA to call with the production number. It's 20 to 5 on friday so I'm getting a little nervous. Oh; I love PW/B but I felt like I had to have a new color and my next fav is CR/B with black bonnett stripes; Premium, Sport, Cold, English Leather and oh yeah, payments for a while. It's going to be a long, hopefully not hot, summer and hopefully not too long. Now, I swear, I'll keep this one until the wheels fall off. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. ....Happy?....Nah.

Damn, don't you hate it when you are feeling CRAPpy. Lucky for me my dealer is 200 miles away, so the feelings generaly pass .

An '06 JCW windshield (including what its attached to) is precisely what I would have advised for your crappy situation.

An '05 MCS fast enough to keep you happy? An '06 crapper will make you happier. It's working for me.

I was aware of the "Team" before but didn't really pay attention as I didn't think I was Major League material however I will study the playbook with renewed interest. So much to learn.....indifferent sneers, haughty scowls, superior glances and so much more...
