Todays service turned to crap

I sold my 03 MCS last August for my current 06 MCS which was delivered in October. I had a few little problems which the tech noticed but could not figure out what it was. In other words, it wasn't getting fixed today. But the techs were relieved after talking with my MA.

It wasn't planned but I ended up trading for an 06 JCW. It had nothing to do with the problems I was in for. It just so happened that right as soon as I walked in. The MINI caught my eye. After checking it out, I jokingly asked my MA what he could do. Not expecting anything nor was he as he knows I'm cheap. After a few hours of on and off talk, papers exchanged and it was a done deal. It was a MINI and a deal I could not pass up.

I'll be picking it up Saturday. Could have today but I have quite a few mods I need to remove from my car to get it back to stock. Some can be used on the JCW and others I'll end up selling.

Oh, the good stuff. It's Astro Black/Astro Black, Sport package, JCW kit, Anthracite headliner, Seven piano dash and English leather.

The weird thing was when I was walking out the door this morning. It came across my mind to bring the camera. I just questioned myself why and didn't bring it. I guess I need to listen to myself sometimes.

All in all, it was a crappy day.

That is really crappy, SB and I am a little bummed that you will no longer be a part of the Booger Patrol, but I can't wait to see the new crap mobile on the 2nd!

I call first dibs on anything SB might be selling that I might want!

We love all Astro Black MINIs in the Astro Black Registery and on the Astro black Frapper Map. Monotone or not, tin top or fabric, stock or moded. Crap or aftermarket

You gotta update your sig file! And proudly display that Astro Black.

I have to go in to work for a little this Saturday so they gave me some time today so I did the natural thing. Headed to the dealership.

Here are some 45 minutes after I got home and swapped out the s-lites for my rims.

Just be glad you didn't bring the camera. When I picked up my Black on Black JCW with English leather, I handed my camera to one of the salesman to take a picture of me and my wife to take a picture of us with our new car. He dropped it. $175 later, I should be getting the camera back from the repair shop tonight.

The last time I dropped my digital camera, I had to replace it!

Outstanding. Give us your impressions of the upgrade to JCW. I know, I know--break--in. What were you mods on your "old" MCS? Enjoy.

It's be a really crappy day if you find something wrong with your JCW, bring it in and while waiting for something, you see a GP sitting on the showroom floor just begging you to take it out for a testdrive and dealer wants to deal....

Congrats!
