Have had my 06 MCS for a month now and yesterday noticed a scratch down the driver side window (inside). Looks like it may be deep enough to have scratched through the tint down to the glass. Called my service advisor and have an appt in a week and a half to have it looked at. Hoping it is something inside the door so that the glass will be replaced. There is no screeching, rattling or grinding sound when operating the window. Have no idea what could have caused it.......anyone have input?

 

Is it above the mirror approximately? I think I have the same scratch on my 2006

 

more toward the center of the driver side window

 

Did they remove your window to tint it? If so something might have shifted when they reinstalled the window. Just a thought.

 

window hasn't been removed.....have had it tinted for 3 weeks now, so I would think if it was contributed to that, it would've shown up before now. Looking at it again yesterday, it looks like there are a couple of small one on the outside of that same window too....so I would suspect it's gotta be something in the door. I'm hoping they'll replace the glass under warranty...........but not holding my breath.....guess we'll see on the 19th. :impatient
